NASCAR’s first trip to the Roval (half road course, half oval) is going to be at Charlotte per week plus a lot is up for debate.
Can this race play similar to a road course like Watkins Glen with a number of wide open sections where drivers can pick up some pace, or can it play more like an intermediate course where motorists Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick have mastered so frequently over the last two decades?
The truth probably lies somewhere in the center, or even a little. BET Chicago says the Roval could play 33 percent just like Charlotte Motor Speedway, 33 percent like Watkins Glen and another 33 percent just like an intermediate course.
That’s a lot however this really is a race where going chalk is probably the smartest choice. Watkins Glen is loved by kyle Busch; he is coming off of a win and he’s success on paths as well. If he’s not out in front he is the betting favorite at 3/1 and will be stalking the chief.
